At the referee's discretion,
a player may be temporarily
sent off. This will be signified
by use of a green card.
The player sent off is to remain
off the field for a period of
five (5) minutes in the immediate
proximity of the 4th official
between the two benches.
At the end of the five (5) minutes
period, the 4th official will
signal to the excluded player
that the exclusion is over.

end of the temporary exclusion,
it will be imperative to wait
for a suitable break in play.
If during the same game a player
receives a 2nd temporary exclusion
(2nd green card), this player
will be sent off. The referee
will show the player a red card.
Any player sent off will have
to leave the field immediately
and return to the changing rooms.
This player may not be replaced
and is not allowed to remain
around the pitch.
